British Cycling and HSBC UK are set to host one of fourteen family-friendly City Rides in Sheffield, once again this summer.
Taking place on Sunday 15 July, the HSBC UK Let's Ride - Sheffield will be a street festival for anyone on a bike- allowing cyclists of all ages and abilities to ride safely together on a traffic-free route.
Whether you’re a big kid or a little kid, there’ll be lots of fun things for everyone to do both on/off a bike, including music, food, drink, fun and games, demos, giveaways, activities, challenges, face painting and more- creating a real festival atmosphere and a great day out for all the family.
The route itself will take riders from Endcliffe Park, down Ecclesall Road and into the heart of the city centre, giving a taste of both urban Sheffield and its great outdoors, with a few unique experiences thrown in for good measure.
This year’s event will also have a strong community focus, linking up with local attractions, while along the route there will be a range of local community groups, bike shops, local performers and giveaways, with participants encouraged to hop off their bikes and find out more.
The event is completely FREE to take part, you just need to register for the event on the British Cycling website here.
British Cycling are also looking for volunteers to help out with the event, so if you fancy to getting involved you can find more info on volunteering opportunities here.
