Getting to Sheffield

By train
Sheffield is well connected, with regular direct railway services running between the city and most of the country’s major cities.

Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham are each less than 1 hour away by train; London St Pancras 2 hours; and Edinburgh 4 hours.

By coach
National Express coaches regularly pull up at Sheffield Interchange, right in the city centre. Megabus drops off and picks up at out-of-town shopping mall Meadowhall, a tram ride away.

By road
To avoid navigating the ring road and one-way routes of the city centre, Park and Ride is the way to go. Coming from the M1, park at Nunnery Square or Meadowhall, or from the west park at Middlewood, and catch the Supertram into the centre.

By air
Sheffield sits within less than an hour's drive of four international airports.

Manchester Airport is connected to Sheffield with a regular direct rail service; Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster and Leeds Bradford Airport are bota short journey away, via rail and bus/taxi; or reach Sheffield from Nottingham East Midlands by airport shuttle followed by a train from East Midlands Parkway.
